This Weekend at One Longfellow Square

This weekend we have two great shows for you, on Friday December 4th LUCY WAINWRIGHT ROCHE AND REBECCA PRONSKY with local favorite Marie Moreshead opening! Lucy is the daughter of Loudon Wainwright and Suzzy Roche, has a beautifully clear voice and is easily as funny as her father. Along with Rebecca Pronsky (who was formally seen opening for Steve Forbert) this is a show that you should not miss.  

And on Saturday December 5th, TWO SHOWS with two time Grammy Winner BILL HARLEY. Bill is giving an evening concert at 8pm and a very special KID’S SHOW at 2pm filled with his wacky, fun songs that your kids will love. Bill has the ability to speak to all ages with his storytelling style of songwriting. Come spend the day with your kids, or the evening with Bill as he performs his ever-changing, ever-popular songs, sung from his slightly off-center point of view.

One Longfellow Square’s Jazz at the Square series ends this month so don’t miss THE AHMAD HASSAN MUHAMMAD TRIO (Tue, Dec 8). Portland Jazz Orchestra will perform December 15 and continue a once a month show at the Square, stay tuned for those dates. And mark your calendar for A Christmas Jazz Show with Chris Humphrey,
(Tuesday, December 22).
