The deadline for table reservations is Thursday, February 11.

Checks should be made out to Woodside Elementary School. Participants should include name, address and a contact phone number. Crafters should include a brief description of items to be sold. For more information on the Flea Market, contact Jill Manuel at skow.girl@yahoo.com.

Now in its fourth year under coach Eric Pulsifer, The Woodside One Wheelers teaches students in grades 3 – 8 many “circus arts” skills including riding unicycles, juggling scarves, balls and clubs; performing tricks with the diabolo and devil sticks; and balancing on a walking globe – often while doing several of the previous feats. Students in the group learn the importance of setting goals and working hard to achieve them and gain the confidence necessary to perform their new skills for audiences.

On April 10, approximately 32 Woodside One Wheelers will ride unicycles down Washington’s Constitution Avenue as part of  the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade – one of Washington, DC’s largest public events of the year, drawing over 100,000 spectators from around the world. The Woodside community is raising approximately $15,000 to send the group to Washington. For more information on the group, call Ceci Gilson at 837-8849.
