Corniche Gallery in Gardiner is planning a get together with Senator Libby Mitchell at Corniche Gallary on Friday, February 26, from 5:30 to 7:30. As one of my dear southern friends used to say “you can’t spot a pinhead on a gallopin’ horse.” (Translation: You won’t be able to make an informed decision until you examine all the facts.) Please plan to attend on the 26th to give Senator Mitchell a chance to share all the facts and aspirations for her Clean Elections Campaign for Governor.
Attached is a bit of information to give you a head start on the 26th. Please come, please RSVP by calling Mary Weiss at 590-5517 or emailing cornicheonline@yahoo.com and please support Libby Mitchell!
As a Clean Elections Candidate for Governor, Mainer Libby Mitchell vies for another first!
About Libby Mitchell
The political news organization Politico put Senate President Libby Mitchell on its list of top 25 politicians to watch in 2010.
Note: Libby Mitchell is running for Governor as a Clean Elections Candidate. She needs to collect thousands of $5 contributions to qualify for clean election funds. Here’s how you can contribute on-line:
1. Visit www.maine.gov/ethics/mcea
2. At the bottom left corner, click on “Qualifying Contributions”
3. At the bottom of that page, select “Make a Qualifying Contribution to a Candidate” and click “go” (AND I DO MEAN GO!)
4. Follow the directions.
All right, jumping through all these hoops is a pain in the neck but WELL WORTH THE EFFORT to support Libby Mitchell!

I’m curious to learn if you plan on providing information and get together information for ALL gubernatorial candidates or simply Senator Mitchell. I’m very curious to know the answer. Thanks.

That’s certainly a valid question!
Our content comes primarily from contributers. In this case it was about Sen. Mitchell.
Anything that has to do with supporting or undermining the arts and entertainment in Maine is important and should be discussed.
We encourage everyone to share any opinion that may endear or vilify a politician as we take freedom of expression and the bravery to do so very seriously.

Everyone is treated equal in this website. It is primarily based on the premise that we are here for you to BE HEARD. It don’t get any more philosophical than that. We are primarily an entertainment and local news online magazine and from a publishing stand point play no role in vilifying, supporting or involving ourselves in the ragglings of those seeking public office. I am a journalist and as such my obligation to my readers is to put whatever news that comes my way on to this website regardless of my opinion on any or all. You take from it whatever you like.
