This March, Gaslight Theater presents “Accomplice,” a comedy-thriller that has all the twists and turns of Olympic Luge and the unpredictability of Olympic Ski Cross. It is the perfect Cabin Fever Reliever to follow the Olympics and keep our minds off of the weather. This is the group’s first offering of the 2010 season, a season dedicated to showing that Crime Does Play!
We can’t say much else about this complex and surprising two-act, four-scene, four-actor comedy thriller by Rupert Holmes; it’s a rollercoaster ride of twists and turns for a very adult audience. Winner of the Mystery Writers of America’s Edgar Award as well as the Dramalogue Award for Best Play, “Accomplice” has entertained and astonished audiences around the world.
“Accomplice” features Frank Omar of Hallowell, Elizabeth Cole of Augusta, Bart Shattuck of Winslow and Stormy Keithly of South Portland. The show is directed by Richard Bostwick, assisted by Deborah Howard. The show is produced by Jeralyn Shattuck and Ellen Lamb.

The play is written by Rupert Holmes, who also wrote “Drood,” the musical adaptation of the “Mystery of Edwin Drood,” and “Escape (The Pina Colada Song)”.
USA Today called “Accomplice” “suspenseful, charming, and funny.” It’s sure to keep audiences talking for weeks — but Gaslight asks everyone not to reveal the ending!
